may feel that working with us may be of benefit and provides a more detail view
of our products and services.
- Who are we? We reach the people other organisations may struggle to reach!
We are an innovative Prowess Flagship organisation. Our aim is to reach out to those
people who may not necessarily engage with traditional organisations. Typically,
those we reach are economically inactive, but a common thread will always be that
they want to increase their life chances.
We work through a combination of one to one support with our ‘Yes I can’ coaching
sessions and the group learning foundation tier peer group workshops (EMPOWER) which
concentrate on developing confidence, esteem and creativity skills which help prepare
them for the prospect of ‘moving on’ into employment, self employment, education
and voluntary work. We are committed to supporting this part of the journey which
we believe makes the difference between someone just ‘thinking’ about moving on,
and somebody actually moving on.
Where do we work?
We currently operate throughout Hampshire and IOW, Berkshire Surrey, East and West
Sussex, and Dover. If your organisation is outside of these areas but you feel we
might be able to work with you, please contact us as we are a dynamic organisation
and can land our team into any location and still gain the right results.
How can we help you?
- Engagement programmes
EMPOWER is a great foundation tier engagement programme. It is designed specifically
to support transition for organisations which support people into education, self
employment, education or voluntary work. This programme is flexible and can be used
to engage with any deprived or vulnerable community including BME. This programme
has been funded by the LSC, and has been adapted for programmes with Southampton
and Portsmouth City Councils and the Hampshire Probation service to name but a few.
The programme can be tailored to suit; for example: we run a programme with Portsmouth
college which is specifically aimed at encouraging people onto further education,
but also run programmes with the Enterprise Gateways which are aimed at encouraging
people into self employment. Whatever your needs, we can work with you to build
a programme which supports what you want to achieve and reach the people you need
to reach.
- Training Delivery
In addition to the Empower and Yes I can programmes our trainers have expertise
in delivering training at most levels. We deliver enterprise start up training advice
through to interpersonal skills training and performance management training for
existing businesses.
- Project management
We have managed and delivered ESF/LSC funded programmes from outset to completion
and have met and overachieved on each occasion. We also manage projects on behalf
of others on a consultancy basis.
- Outreach
All our work is supported by outreach workers who have a wealth of experience working
in the heart of the community. They adopt a truly innovative approach to engagement
and have an excellent track record. We also second our outreach workers to other
organisations who need extra support at certain times.
