Women’s Wisdom is a not for profit organisation and as such rely on volunteers to help us with our work. More than that, we want to give people who want support getting back into the workplace the opportunity to come and work in a really fun and informal environment which raises your confidence in many different ways.

If you are interested in volunteering, please call us on 0800 781 8597, and we’ll arrange an informal meeting where we can tell you about who we are. We provide opportunities for extra training if this is what you need and will pay reasonable expenses for your travel to work.

Bid Writer
Women's Wisdom Ltd are a not for profit social enterprise. Much of our work is dependent on writing successful for funding and tenders for contracts. We would really appreciate some help from a volunteer who would be happy to give us a couple of hours a week to help seek out bid writing opportunities and to help us write bids. This role would really suit someone who has previous experience working in the 'not for profit' sector and who has previous experience of either bid writing or working within bid writing teams. This role is one which could be worked from home. This is a critical role for Women's Wisdom and will be pivotal to our sustainability over the coming year or so. Data Inputer
Women's Wisdom Ltd are a not for profit organisation. We currently have an opening for a volunteer to assist us with some data input at our offices in Blendworth or the Walk In Centre in Portsmouth (Mondays). Outreach Workers - Hampshire
We are currently looking for people to engage with people in the following areas EASTLEIGH - SOUTHAMPTON - ANDOVER - BASIONGSTOKE - RUSHMOOR - HAYLING ISLAND - LEIGH PARK - WINCHESTER - EAST HAMPSHIRE BEDHAMPTON to talk to them abpout the courses we are running in their area. You will also receive a place on our FREE Empower training and full support to be a volunteer. We will train you how to work safely and how to be a great outreach worker. You will need to be organised and happy to chat to people in a friendly and welcoming manner. Access to your own transport would be useful but is not necessary - all agreed travel expenses incurred as part of your agreed activities will be reimbursed and it's a great chance to get our and meet people! Newsletter Production Assistants
Women's Wisdom Ltd is a not for profit social enterprise. We are currently looking for two volunteers in Southampton who can help us produce a monthly newsletter so we can promote the great work that we are doing. We would really appreciate help from anyone who can volunteer a few hours a week and is interested in desk-top publishing or writing. You will be part of a team that is responsible for providing the content as well as producing and distributing the newsletter. Enthusiasm is more important than experience although the ability to work to a production deadline is essential. Our volunteers are very important to us and to this end we have a comprehensive induction process to ensure that your experience of working with us is a positive one and we can also offer extensive training opportunities to meet your personal development needs. Enterprise Assistant
Women's Wisdom Ltd is a not for profit social enterprise. We are currently looking for a volunteer to work with the Enterprise Manager. This position would suit somebody based in the Petersfield or Portsmouth area. The role involves assisting the enterprise manager with course administration, production of course materials and maintaining the diary. You would need to be familiar with Microsoft Office programmes and be confident on the telephone. Community Payback Support Assistant
Women's Wisdom Ltd is a not for profit social enterprise. We are currently looking for volunteers in Southampton to work at the ARC project helping female offenders on a 1-2-1 basis with numeracy, literacy, IT and communication skills. You will be supported by the project manager and will be provided with appropriate training prior to commencement of the role. You will need to be a good communicator who is punctual and reliable; you should be willing to learn new skills; be able to work as part of a team and respect confidentiality.
